Unlike the NT intervention which imposes blanket quarantining on communities, the cape York trial is only for quarantining when instances of child neglect are reported by community agencies. In this regard I believe quarantining of specific individuals is a much better option than the present response of removing the children from the family. The Cape York trial is an Aboriginal initiative, also different from the NT intervention. See also……

In this article I claim the Cape York trial, including welfare quarantining, is a different situation altogether from the N.T. intervention.

Unlike the NT intervention which imposes blanket quarantining on communities, the cape York trial is only for quarantining when instances of child neglect are reported by community agencies.
